Hi! There has been a distinct lack of updates on the blog, but I’ve still been painting away at the piles o’ lead and making some progress. When my family decides to have a crisis, they don’t do things by halves, I can tell you! Apologies for the lack of updates – to make up for it, I’ll be posting the past months’ painting over the next week…. so please enjoy and as always, comments and constructive critiques are welcome :)
Another instalment for the Napoleonic Austrian Army, again painted fast and clean to a decent tabletop standard for the client to get them on the table in as little time as possible. This is about as basic as I like to do any pant job – I was admittedly twitching at the shortcuts to get them done, but I think they have turned out all right in the end… and the client is happy with them, so that's the important thing! This is the Salzburg Landwehr, sculpts are Front Rank, painting by me, basing to be done by the client.
Here’s the next instalment for the Austrian Napoleonic Army, the 4th Rgt. La Tour (1807 Vincent) Chevaulegers. This is a small unit of just six figures, the start of the ‘get it done quick to get it on the table at the request of the client paint jobs! Sculpts are Trent Miniatures, painted by me to the clients specification, basing to be done by the client. Trent Miniatures’ sculpts are a joy to paint, and I really did have fun with these guys.
